Unicorns = Rhinoceros
"And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness." Isaiah 34:7
The margin for "unicorns" is rhinocerots.
A male rhino is called a bull, a female rhino is called a cow & a baby rhino is called a calf.
Rhinos were used in ancient warfare.
Behemoth = Elephant
"Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox." Job 40:15
The margin for "behemoth" is the elephants.
"he eateth grass an an ox" (Job 40:15) - Elephants eat grasses, leaves, shrubs, fruits and roots depending on the season and their habitat.
"his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly." (Job 40:16) - Unlike the lion whose strength is in the paws and teeth, or hippo whose strength is in the jaws, elephants strength lies in their weight and size.
"He is the chief of the ways of God" (Job 40:19) - Elephants are the most intelligent land animals.
"Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play. He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens." (Job 40:20-21) - Most elephants dwell in the mountainous forests. Where hippos are dependent on water sources to keep cool, elephants rely on the shadow of forest trees to bring down their temperature in the heat of the summer.
"Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth." (Job 40:23) - An adult elephant can drink more than 200L of water per day.
Cockatrice = Adder
"Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina, because the rod of him that smote thee is broken: for out of the serpent's root shall come forth a cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent." Isaiah 14:29
The margin for "cockatrice" is adder which is a poisonous serpent.
Why do people think unicorns, behemoth & cockatrice do not exist and yet they are in the Bible?
Why do people think that trinity exist and it is not in the Bible?
