Biblical Calendar
Matthew 24:32
Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh
● Things found in nature speaks to us of the different seasons.
Leviticus 23:4
These are the feasts of the Lord, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.
● The feasts of the Lord are correlated with the seasons.
Ecclesiastes 3:1
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.
Exodus 12:1-2
And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt saying, This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.
● It was in the first month of the year that the children of Israel were delivered out of Egypt.
Leviticus 23:10
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:
● During the feast of the unleavened bread in the first month, a sheaf of the firstfruits of the harvest is to be brought before the priest.
● Thus, the firstfruits of the harvest corresponds to the first month.
Exodus 13:4
This day came ye out in the month Abib.
● Aviv (Hebrew: אביב) means "barley ripening".
( source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aviv )
● Thus, the firstfruits of the barley harvest corresponds to the first month.
Exodus 9:29-32
And Moses said unto him, As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands unto the Lord; and the thunder shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that thou mayest know how that the earth is the Lord's. But as for thee and thy servants, I know that ye will not yet fear the Lord God. And the flax and the barley was smitten: for the barley was in the ear, and the flax was bolled. But the wheat and the rie were not smitten: for they were not grown up.
-
After the barley ripen, there should be no more snow.
2 Chronicles 31:5
And as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly.
The above barley from the land of Israel was dated March 23, 2022. The video maker strongly believes that the crop was Aviv (a condition ready for harvest). However, based on observation, less than 10% (the tithe) of the field is ripe for harvest. Therefore, with the firstfruits of the barley harvest less than the tithe amount, the field cannot be considered ready for harvest. The new year must begin one month later in early May instead of early April.
In addition, if the above field in Israel were to be smitten by hail, there would not be much of a loss because most barley were not in the ear yet and only the ripe ones would fall to the ground. The loss cause by such a plague would be immaterial compare to the one that happened in Exodus 9:31, "And the flax and the barley was smitten: for the barley was in the ear, and the flax was bolled."
To illustrate the difference, below is a comparison between a normal ripe barley fields to the one in the above video.
Signs of the Times, June 21, 1843
Based on the above barley report, the start of the biblical year is on May 02, 2022. The seventh new moon of the year was observed on October 27, 2022. Here are the conclusions:
-
The start of the Jewish new year was on April 02, 2022. This date is exactly one month before the start of the Biblical year according to the Bible which was on May 02, 2022. According to Inspiration: "That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past." Ecclesiastes 3:15. As the Jewish calendar was one month ahead of the Biblical calendar in 1844, the same Jewish calendar is still one month ahead of Biblical calendar in 2022.
-
The 10th day of the 7th month is the day of atonement which fell from the sunset of Nov 5th to the sunset of Nov 6th, 2022.
-
The 9th day of the 7th month is the Sabbath of the Lord which fell from the sunset of Nov 4th to the sunset of Nov 5th, 2022. One day preceding the day of atonement. For it is written: "It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath." Leviticus 23:32. The 9th day of the 7th month can fall on any given day. But in 2022, it fell on the seventh-day Sabbath. This is the year our Lord Jesus began the investigative judgment of the living.
-
“And he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.” Leviticus 23:11. While the first day of the feast of unleavened bread is called a holy convocation, it is never called “the sabbath” in the Scriptures and it can fall on any given day. But in the year A.D. 31, it fell on the seventh-day Sabbath. And because of this sign, it is confirmed that type had met anti-type, and that our Savior is the wave sheaf of the first fruit that was presented before God “on the morrow after the sabbath”.
-
For decades before 2022, there was no reliable barley report in the land of Israel. By the providence of God, barley fields are farmed in order to understand the Biblical Calendar better. "Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." Amos 3:7
-
These important dates fell on the seventh-day Sabbath (15th of the first month in 31 AD and the 9th of the seventh month in 2022) is a sign to God's people. For it is written: "And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God." Ezekiel 20:20 and "Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you." Exodus 31:13.
-
The first day of unleavened bread is called a "holy convocation" in the bible but not a Sabbath. But in the year A.D. 31 ,it was on the seventh-day Sabbath. The ninth day of the seventh month is not a Sabbath. But in the year 2022, it also fell on the seventh-day Sabbath.

It is commonly believed that the Passover corresponded to the close of March or the beginning of April. "The time of the Passover corresponded to the close of March or the beginning of April..." {Desire of Ages Page 75.2}. In the year A.D. 31, only the Julian calendar existed at the time. Jesus died on the 14th day of the first biblical month which would be around the close of March or the beginning of April on the Julian calendar. The Gregorian calendar which we currently use did not exist back then.

"Solemn are the scenes connected with the closing work of the atonement. Momentous are the interests involved therein. The Judgment is now passing in the sanctuary above. For more than forty years this work has been in progress. Soon—none know how soon—it will pass to the cases of the living. In the awful presence of God our lives are to come up in review. At this time above all others it behooves every soul to heed the Saviour's admonition, “Watch and pray; for ye know not when the time is.” [Mark 13:33.] “If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.” [Revelation 3:3.] {Great Controversy 1888 Edition 490.2}
none know how soon" - while we cannot tell in advance "the time" which means the prophetic year, investigative judgment shall begin, we will know when it is here:
-
When we see the 7 plagues fall upon the earth, will we know that the probation has closed?
-
When we know that the probation has closed, will we know that the investigative judgment of the living has finished?
-
When God announce the hour and the day of Jesus' second coming, will we know that the probation has closed?
-
When we go to heaven, will we say no man knows the time when investigative judgment of the living began?
-
When the first angel repeats his message and says: "the time is come", "the hour of his judgment is come", will we in our defiant ignorance tell God, no man knows the time!
Verily I say to you: Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things!
THE TIME IS COME
Jesus cleansed the sanctuary TWICE during his three and half year ministry. The first occurrence of this event is found in John 2:13-17 and the second occurrence of this event is found in Luke 19:45-48, Matthew 21:12-13 and Mark 11:15-17.
As God’s people, we have preached that the same Jesus entered the Most Holy of the heavenly sanctuary on October 22, 1844 to commence his work of cleansing the sanctuary above. Daniel 8:14 “And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days then shall the sanctuary be cleansed”. On that day, the work of investigative judgment began. First the dead, then it moves onto the living. 1 Peter 4:5 “Who shall give account to him that is ready to JUDGE the quick (living) and the dead”. It begins at the house of God then unto those outside of the house of God. 1 Peter 4:17 “For the time is come that JUDGMENT must begin at the house of God…”.
"...behold, the JUDGE standeth before the door." [James 5:9]
"Behold, I stand at the door..." [Revelation 3:20]
For many years, the judgment of the dead has been ongoing. The time is come, the year is come, that the judgment of the living shall begin. This fearful event is described in chapter 9 of the Ezekiel.
As Jesus started the cleansing of the heavenly sanctuary on the Day of Atonement on October 22, 1844, He will cleanse AGAIN the heavenly sanctuary on the Day of Atonement.
For the time is come that judgment of the LIVING must begin at the house of God on the tenth day of the seventh month.
The proclamation of the first angel’s message will be repeated again:
Revelation 14:6-7 Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His JUDGMENT has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”
Revelation 10:11
And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy AGAIN before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
Hebrews 10:30
For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. AND AGAIN, The Lord shall JUDGE his people.
